Compatible Mod Packs
The highly-anticipated sequel to Call of Duty Warzone is out! It's officially time to get equipped with a modded controller compatible with Warzone 2. It doesn’t matter what gaming platform you are going to enjoy the sequel on, the performance upgrades work the same way across all of them - Playstation 5 and 4, Xbox Series X/One, and PC.
The choice of controller modifications mainly depends on your gaming style and the goals you set to achieve in your gameplay. You can select from hardware, software or both types of modifications to be installed onto your pad. From a standard remap capability to a more complex macro and modded functionality - tailor your gaming experience exactly as you need.
To help you get the right modifications, we'll walk you through all available Warzone 2 mods, group by group.
These are additional physical components added to your controller. The most popular add-ons are mechanical (smart) triggers and back-remappable buttons. Both are so demanded on the market, that any premium pro controller offers them now. In fact, Sony's upcoming Edge DualSense controller will have them as well.
The secret to the option's popularity is simple - they are easy to use and give you an instant competitive edge by allowing you to personalize controller performance 100% the way you want.
With smart triggers, you get a shorter trigger travel distance (compared to the controller's standard ones). It gives you a higher number of presses per minute, leading to better precision and control in-game.
You can add smart triggers to your Xbox Series X controller from here.
If you are a PS5 user, you get more variety as, in addition to mechanical triggers R1 and R2, you can also add smart bumpers L1/L2 and smart face buttons to your DualSense modded controller.
The back buttons feature for Xbox Series X and PS5 controllers are different. The Xbox version comes with four buttons on the back that allow you to map standard button commands to them. Once programmed, the controller will press a dedicated button on the controller every time you press the back button. You can change the assignment at any time.
The back buttons for the PS5 controller come as two paddles with three kinds of functionality.
The basic one is Standard Remap with the same mechanics as described above. It allows you to free your thumbs by mapping stock button functions to the back paddles.
Next is the most popular Advanced back button option. You map the controller buttons to the paddles and can make it turbo. What this means is that every time you press the programmed paddle, your controller will mash the button mapped to the paddle for you.
Last but not least is the Macro Remap option that offers everything Advanced paddles do plus three more macros. You get the standard remap function, turbo, auto double/triple tap, and continuous press macros. It works the same way - you map the desired stock button to a paddle and enjoy its upgraded functionality.
Warzone 2 compatible mods are twelve special features included in the multi-mod Juggernaut package. Once you add them to your order, your PS5 or Xbox Series X controller will come loaded with them. You don't have to download anything else - all mods come already installed.
To start experiencing a new, increased performance in Warzone 2, the only thing you’ll have to do is activate them.
Four mods can be activated at the time - one of the four available shoot-enhancing mods on LED slot 1 and three special (non-shooting) options. You can change the selection of mods or turn them off completely at any time.
The most popular shooting mod is Rapid Fire. What it does is press the firing trigger on your behalf rapidly and turn all semi-auto and single-shot weapons into fully auto ones. You can choose from six pre-set settings or program your own via a programming menu.
Most gamers play with default settings, given that three of them come with a Tactical feature. Tactical Rapid Fire lets you turn the mod on/off on the fly, which is required in some gaming situations for the highest efficiency.
Great to know that Warzone 2 has two dedicated mods - Auto Spot/Ping and Armor Repair Assist. The features are exclusive as they have been engineered and implemented by the Mega Modz brand, and they are not compatible with any other game on the market but Warzone and Warzone 2.
Auto Ping makes the enemy pinging process much easier and no more double-tapping the d-pad UP button is required.
The Mod has been designed to ease the enemy pinging process and take away the need to double-tap on the D-pad “UP” button to perform standard pinging. Accomplishing this action may make you lose the game rhythm by unnaturally moving your right-hand fingers to the left side of the controller; which will lead to the loss of control of the right stick and operational buttons located on the right side
Armor Repair Assist mod's name speaks for itself. With the enabled mod, your character will repair armor plates more effectively.

Call of Duty Warzone 2 was released on the 16th of November, 2022.
Like the original Warzone, it can be downloaded on its own (no COD Modern Warfare 2 purchase is required) and is free to play.
To clear up any confusion, Warzone 2 doesn’t replace Warzone. What happened is the original Warzone went offline on the sequels’ release day to go through some maintenance and be relaunched Call of Duty: Warzone Caldera on November, 28th.
Immediately available on all major platforms, Sony PS5 and PS4, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, Warzone 2 download file takes roughly 3 GB for those who have Modern Warfare 2 installed, and up to 45 GB to download the game from scratch.
What about the first impressions of the Warzone 2 gameplay? One of the notable facts is that Warzone 2 is between Call of Duty Blackout and Warzone. It plays much more like a traditional battle royale with much emphasis put on looting as you start only with two armor plates and no loadout drops available.
Some of the looting mechanics feel not optimal at the release (for example, having to spend time navigating the appearing menu to select your loot crate instead of just picking it up from the ground). This may be polished by the developers down the road.
Another thing that can be improved is the AI and the soldiers. They appear often in the game making you confuse them with the enemies so you start shooting and revealing your position. It is an unnecessary risk that can be avoided.
Now about the great stuff. The map structure and layout are perfectly balanced. There is a good amount of open areas and spots to get cover like trees, rocks, etc.
The pacing is perfect, neither boring nor overwhelming, and a great thing for hardcore COD fans is that there is a lot of traditional, old-school Call of Duty maps integrated into the game.
The vehicle play has been upgraded allowing you to shoot out tires, and snipe enemies out of vehicles. There are also boats and swimming activities that add more depth to the adventure.
One of the coolest additions to Warzone 2 is proximity chats that let you hear the enemies once you get close to them. It does make you feel engaged in what’s going on the screen much deeper.
The verdict is the game is now a more traditional-style battle royale with upgraded maps, great pace, and extra layers to experience the adventure. Select from hardware and software upgrades, compatible with the Warzone series, and jump into the battle fully prepared. A distinct competitive edge is guaranteed.
