Ps4 controller thumbstick mod

I have never seen a mod only seen stuff on like htc vive controllers or steam controllers but would be great mod I play alit of mobile gaming so in used to the movement on mobile would be great to have on ps4 controller for a starting chance -
Would anyone know if it would be possible to change the the thumbsticks into touchpads and have it work in the same way as it would for mobile gaming or similar? I think this would be a very great mod for those with sensitivity issues with the thumbstick.
